Brittany + Jonathan - Outdoor Wedding Photography in Raleigh, North Carolina

Brittany and Jonathan had a beautiful outdoor wedding out in the country, and said their vows surrounded by their friends, family and children. As a wedding photographer in Raleigh, NC I was so excited to capture their nuptials. The wedding colors were inspired by Brittany's vibrant purple hair, from the groomsmen's shirts to the dinner napkins. I absolutely loved how she went bold, not afraid of statement colors. Everything came together absolutely beautifully!

"Me and Jonathan met at our job with the Post Office. We never really talked a lot until we ran into one another at the gym. We slowly became best friends which led to dating. I knew the second we were together that this is who I was meant to spend the rest of my life with. Jonathan constantly makes me laugh and is equally just as weird. We are insanely compatible. The fact that we found one another is literally a one in a billion chance. He is my soul mate, lover, and best friend."

 One can totally tell by the way they look at each other, how in love they are. Their two beautiful little girls just make their family complete! But how did he propose? 

"We were on vacation in Emerald Isle, NC. I had been sunburned from the day before. Jonathan asked me to go for a walk on the beach the next morning. I kept telling him that I was extremely sunburned and didn't feel like going for a walk but he persisted so I kind of knew something was up. We walked about a quarter of a mile and he turned to me. Bless his heart, he was so nervous. He got down on one knee and asked if i would marry him."
