Mercedes + Nicole - Engagement Photography Session in Fayetteville, North Carolina

This past fall, I met up with Mercedes and Nicole for their Engagement Photography Session in Fayetteville, North Carolina in a beautiful nature setting. The sweet couple is about to get married by a waterfall - only a few days left until I get to be their Wedding Photographer in Asheville, NC. I am so excited so I know I needed to share their engagement photos in anticipation of the day! The future brides met on Plenty of fish a couple of years ago. 

"Back then online dating was different and it wasn't just "hook up" apps. When we first met she invited me over to her house to make dinner. I was vegan and she was not. I made her an amazing vegan meal and she ate every bit of it. We had a few drinks and talked the night away. We stayed up kissing and chatting all night. Then the next day we headed to the beach. We spent a few days there with my family. When we got back we spent two more nights at each others house. It was a 5 day first date. We enjoyed each other so much and I absolutely loved spending time with her."

For Nicole, it was also pretty clear pretty fast that Mercedes was the one. "I knew I wanted to marry Mercedes not long after we became an official couple", she told me "My best friends wedding was when it hit me that this was the woman I was going to spend the rest of my life with."
