Bri & Natasha - Wedding at the Matthews House, Cary North Carolina
It was totally last minute that Bri & Natasha contacted me to photograph their wedding, since their original photographer had bailed out on them. When I first talked to them on the phone, I instantly fell in love with their personalities and knew we would be a good fit, so I was absolutely excited to take on their wedding! Arriving at their Venue, Matthews House in Cary North Carolina, everyone was so sweet. Their wedding party and guests were so much fun, just like the two of them and the party started while getting ready.
But how did we get there?
"While living in Philly I planned a rather large surprise for Natasha. I gathered 15 of our closest friends and family from North Carolina, New Yorkand Maryland in philly. After Natasha got off of work I had two of her friends pick her up from work and take her to lunch. After lunch they took her to their hotel to change (where I had two outfits already picked out so she had options). After she changed we had plans to meet her parents (who she knew were in town), but her friends took her the long way around city hall to Love park where I was waiting. I had two friends hiding in the bushes to take pictures. I took her to a spot and then popped the question. After that we walked to dinner where the other 10 friends and family were waiting to surprise her. Then we danced the night away."
The Venue was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful backyard Wedding. Bri's favorite moment was, when Natasha walked down the Isle and if you check out the pictures to see the look on her face, you know that it really was. She loves that she can just be herself around Natasha and that she loves her for her, and of course, her goofiness. The love the two have for each other is so ever present in every time they look at each other, talk about each other, and the excitement they have for each other. Natasha loved that they could celebrate their union, surrounded by everyone they love in one place. The things she loves most about her new wife is her loyalty and work ethic, and most of all, how she can always calm her down and make light of any situation!
What tips do they have for future brides?
"Don't stress about the little details. Don't over do it."
