Avery + Kirk - Wedding Photography at Pelican's Landing in Corolla, NC - Outer Banks North Carolina Wedding Photographer

Avery and Kirk had a beautiful beach Wedding at Pelicans Landing in Corolla, North Carolina and I couldn't have been more excited to travel to the Outer Banks to be more their photographer! All week we were worried about the weather - but it held out! While it was incredibly windy, we definitely made it work! The two met in school when they lived in Budapest, Hungary where both of their families were working as missionaries and the rest is history! "I love how she is conscious and aware of feelings." Kirk says about his Bride. "She picks up on when I'm sad and cheers me up." He proposed to her on a trip back to the place where everything began - in one of their favorite spots in Budapest!

Avery's favorite moment of the day was the ceremony. "Reading our vows to each other and standing there on the beach in the crazy wind was a moment I will never forget.", she says. Her tip for future brides is to not get wrapped up in trying to pack too much in. "Kirk and I wanted our wedding to be fun and low key, and the fact that we kept things spontaneous and chill really helped the wedding be fun and enjoyable rather than a stressful experience."

What does the future hold? "We want to stay happily married and raise many dogs & children!"
